and my Cole Haan's don't match that

I went to TJ Maxx with my mom the other night and purchased the greatest pair of shoes I've ever owned. Their Cole Haan's Nike Air line. Brilliant. Truly magical. They're cute and look great with jeans, but are also SO comfortable. Like Merrell's comfortable, but a lot cuter than that. And for the joy of the Maxx, only $60. LOVE THEM. I've worn them about 6 days of the 7 that I've owned them. You can copy me if you'd like. I would if I were you. Just sayin.

business cards

I don't use business cards. I'm a teacher. Be serious.
But, I have a friend who has them with her contact info on them- and has them available at open house for parents to pick up. And I've always loved this idea, but wasn't about to actually PAY for them.

shoes for spring

this picture doesn't do these shoes any kind of justice, so you'll have to trust me when I tell you that these are the cutest shoes ever. Target, of course. and they're hot pink-- look a little paler in the picture, but they're HOT pink in real life. LOVE them!!! You can buy them at your local Target, or if you're feeling a little lazy, you can sit and order them from here!

So, I went to Target yesterday to get a paint brush-- and while I was there in the shoe section.

AND found a super bargain!

Got both of these for $20- TOTAL!!

Wore the snake skin pair today-- can't wait to wear the CRIMSON pair to an Alabama football game this fall!!

since I've been gone

Hey! I am so sorry that I've been MIA for the last few weeks-- I went to China for 10 days and the time leading up to that was out of control! BUT- my time there was AMAZING! we got to see Dad work in AMAZING ways! love it.

in the shopping front, I got to hit the silk and pearl markets for a few days! UNBELIEVABLE! it just blows your mind that you can buy and pair of REAL pearl earrings for THREE DOLLARS.

and I got a new Mountain Hardware jacket-- adorable! love it! mine is red, but it's the same style.

AND IT WAS ONLY TWELVE DOLLARS!!! SO AWESOME!

but, I'm back. get excited! I've missed you!

deal of the CENTURY

So, I LOVE Hobo International's bags- especially their clutch called "Lauren"... SO cute, SO conveinent!

and then one night I was out at dinner and I saw my friend Ellen had one- and I complemented her on it-- and she tells me that she got it at WAL-MART! WHAT!?!?! are you kidding? and she said it was only about $15! So awesome!!

so, the next time I was at WalMart, I made a point to look for them-- but couldn't find them. sad day for me. and I almost broke down and bought one for lots of money...

THEN- two nights ago, I was at WalMart and just happen to be walking through some random section-- AND LO, AND BEHOLD- I found the clutch!!! AND to make it EVEN better, it was only FIVE DOLLARS.
I am SO SO SO excited- I used it tonight and it was super!
